This website is a collaboration between two electronic musician friends who recently both became fascinated by the mid-to-late 1980s’ Roland MC-500/MC-500 Mk II hardware MIDI sequencers. We both recently purchased an MC-500 and set off on a voyage of discovery, learning all we could about the hardware and software. The aim of this website it to document everything we find out so other MC-500 enthusiasts can benefit.
